Chittoor: TDP MLA Satyaprabha said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is committed to empowerment of women by giving more opportunities to them so that they can prove their skills and abilities on all fronts. To encourage women for taking up leadership role, Satyaprabha said that the Chief Minister has offered prestigious posts to women in the district when compared to male party leaders.
She stated that female party leaders like Girvani, Indira, Rajeswari, Suguna, Lalitha Kumari and others are playing vital role in the development of the district. Participating in the third phase of the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme held at Ganganapalli division here on Friday, the MLA reiterated that unsettled issues of the people would be resolved in the ongoing Janmabhoomi programme in which all officials concerned and the respective elected representatives of all political parties would be taking part. She stated that people have taken active part in Grama Sabhas held in 50 divisions under the limits of the Chittoor Municipal Corporation. She said that white ration cards, pensions and Deepam LPG gas connections have been distributed to beneficiaries.
The MLA said that Chandrababu Naidu, Minister B Gopalakrishna Reddy, MP N Sivaprasad and other party leaders have taken part in the Janmabhoomi programme at Tirupati to make it a success. She assured people that petitions received in the ongoing Janmabhoomi would be resolved by officials within two months. TDP State Secretary B N Rajasimhulu declared that the party has been successful in bringing the administration to the doorsteps of the people. He said that people in large numbers are attending the Janmabhoomi programme. Earlier, the TDP leaders have paid floral tributes to the slain Mayor couple K Anuradha and K Mohan and observed two-minute silence. TDP district general secretary P Nani and other leaders were present.
