New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Monday allowed the AAP government to proceed with the implementation of odd-even scheme in the capital till January 15. The court also said that if the government wished to continue with the scheme in future, it should take into consideration the issues raised by various petitioners.
The Court on said that it will not interfere with the state government's notification on the odd-even formula and that the scheme is to continue till January 15.
The next hearing over the car-rationing scheme is scheduled on February 15th.
"The High Court has refused to interfere with the Delhi Government's notification and they have issued a direction of points. The points will have to be considered by the state government. The rationality of the notification was challenged by us," Lawyer RK Kapoor told the reporters here.
