Nizamabad: District Collector Yogita Rana directed the officials to strengthen the arrangements for conducting the Group-II examinations,to be held on April 24 and 25. Addressing a review meeting with district level officials along with TSPSC Member Vivek at the Collectorate on Tuesday, the District Collector said that nearly 35,000 aspirants would be appearing for the Group-II examinations in 101 examination centers.
She said that the Group-II examination was being conducted for the first time after formation of the Telangana State and as such, it was taking the exam as a matter of prestige. Yogita Rana said that the officials had already identified the sensitive and trouble-prone centers and were thinking of installing closed circuit television cameras.
She said the examination centers should be organised in Nizamabad, Armoor, Kamareddy and Bodhan towns. She said that the officials should make all the necessary arrangements to conduct the examination peacefully. The TSPSC member Vivek directed the officials to select centers having basic minimum amenities like drinking water, electricity, furniture and toilets.
Joint Collector Ravinder Reddy, Additional Joint Collector Rajaram, DRO Mohan lal, Revenue Divisional Officer Yadireddi, Nagesh and Shyam Prasad Lal were present.
