Vijayawada: Fire accident near Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's residence at Tadepalli near here has sent the officials into a tizzy.
According to reports, a massive fire broke out in some Lankas (Isles) in Krishna river at Seetanagaram village of Tadepalli mandal in Guntur district. The fire quickly spread and thick smoke engulfed the entire region.
Chief Minister's security staff, police, officials and locals rushed to the isles and tried to put off the fire. Local MRO immediately rushed to the spot and alerted fire personnel.
By the time fire personnel arrived at the spot, rainfall occurred and the flames came under control.
