Handlooms expo at NIFT, Hyderabad

On the occasion of National Handlooms Day, yesterday, a handlooms exhibition was put up by students of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad, as well as weavers. Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, who opened the exhibition said that the government should encourage weavers by getting uniform cloth, of not just school children but also others like ICDS workers, woven by them. Western clothes, stitched from handlooms were displayed.
