We had already reported that Mahesh Babu will be adopting a village soon and he will develop that village. Today (September 27th), Mahesh Babu made it official announcing that he will be adopting Siddhapuram village in Telangana.
It is known that he was inspired by the story of Srimanthudu, which was based on the adoption of a village. Mahesh Babu said that Telangana Minister for Panchayatraj, Rural Development and Information Technology K.T. Rama Rao is one of the reasons behind his decision.
Mahesh Babu tweeted “After much thought @KTRTRS garu and myself have chosen to adopt Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district :)”.
