YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced complete prohibition on liquor will be implemented in Andhra Pradesh if his party comes to power.
When a first year student of Samhitha college pointed out about the numerous death in the recent past due to liquor at the Vidyardhi Yuvabheri, Jagan faulted AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for not fulfilling his promise of reducing the liquor shops in the state.
Assuring that he will be coming to power within 2 or 3 years, Jagan vowed to implement total prohibition in AP. He, however, maintained only rich people will have access to liquor in his regime as they alone can bear the expenses of liquor-related diseases.
Jagan blamed Chandrababu Naidu for visiting other countries when the state was facing a lot of issues post bifurcation. He advised the TDP Supremo to visit Delhi for achieving Special Status instead of going to other countries.
