Hyderabad: After 14 years, TRS supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will land in Andhra region (now Andhra Pradesh state) on October 22 to participate in Amaravati foundation-stone laying ceremony.
In the past 14 years, KCR has not visited Andhra and Rayalaseema regions for any public event except to visit Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala.
Jai Andhra and AP Dalit Mahasabha members had invited KCR to attend a public meeting in Vijayawada in May 2010, but the programme was cancelled due to Cyclone Laila.
KCR had announced offers to deities including Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala and Goddess Kanaka Durga atop Indrakeeladri and released Rs 5.5 crore fund.
According to reports, within in the next two months KCR would visit the temples and present offerings.
