Kakinada: A 23-year-old M.Tech student of JNTU-K campus college Kota Rahul collapsed in a bathroom at a private hostel room and died on Friday.
According to sources, a native of Khammam in Telangana, Rahul was pursuing M.Tech in JNTU-K and was staying in a private hostel outside the college campus.
On Friday, while taking bath he collapsed in the bathroom. On information, campus college Principal Prof. Ramachandra Raja along with university medical officer and other students rushed to the place and shifted him to a private hospital.
Later, he was shifted to Kakinada government hospital where the doctors declared that he was brought dead. Rahul had been suffering from low blood pressure for some time. A medico-legal case was registered. Kakinada rural police are investigating.
