Man killed in road mishap

Nalgonda: A senior citizen died in a road mishap at bypass road in Bhongir on Friday. According to the police, Bodiga Chandraiah (65) of Kacharam village of Yadagirigutta mandal was heading towards Bhongir.

A speeding lorry coming from behind, hit the two-wheeler, on which he was riding and severely injured him. The locals shifted Chandriah to an area hospital in Bhongir town. He died in the hospital while undergoing treatment. Bhongir police registered a case and investigation is on.
