Vijayawada: Md. Summiyya of Nellore emerged as the winner at the beauty pageant 'Tollywood Miss AP 2016'.
The glittering event held at Siddhartha College of Hotel Management on Sunday was organised by city-based Sai Creative Entertainments. This was the first-ever beauty pageant held in the newly formed State.
There were 17 finalists, who set the stage on fire with their ramp walk clad in beautiful attires. Presence of Tollywood celebrities Brahmanandam and Ali made the event more dazzling and garnered as special attraction for crowd.
Gottipati Sai, CEO of Sai Creative Entertainments said the idea behind organising the pageant was to make Tollywood recongnise local talent rather choosing talent from north.
"We gave a platform to these young girls to refine themselves and foray into glamorous world," he opined.
First runner-up is given to M. Tanurya, Second runner-up to Vizag beauty D.Devi Priya.
