Amit Shah avoids Chandrababu naidu, amit shah Hyderabad visit, amit shah ap visit
In a clear indication that gap is widening between BJP and its ally TDP in Andhra Pradesh, BJP president Amit Shah has avoided meeting Chief Minister Chandrababu during his visit here on Thursday.
TDP leaders tried their best to ensure a meeting between Naidu and Amit Shah but they were curtly told by the BJP leaders that Shah was busy with his pre-arranged programs.
Political observers feel that Shah avoiding a meeting with Chandrababu Naidu is an indication of BJP weaning away from its staunch ally in AP. The move is part of the efforts of the BJP to grow independently in Andhra Pradesh aiming to capture power by 2019.
BJP leaders of Telangana have confirmed the reports that TDP made futile attempts to ensure a meeting between Shah and Chandrababu on Thursday and reiterated that BJP is very much determined to grow as an independent force in both Telangana and AP.
Amit Shah, who had arrived in Hyderabad Wednesday evening, had left for Vijayawada Thursday evening. During his visit to Hyderabad, Shah held several meetings with Telangana party leaders.
