Karimnagar: Panchayat Raj and IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao on Saturday laid foundation stones for various developmental works worth Rs 8 crore in Yellareddypet mandal in Sircilla Assembly constituency on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Rs 27 crore was sanctioned by the Chief Minister for taking up various welfare works including laying cement concrete roads in the four mandals of Sircilla Assembly segment.

He said that various departments of the TRS government had sanctioned Rs 100 crore for Sircilla Assembly constituency in the past nine months.  He pointed out that works would be launched soon. Taraka Ramarao assured the gathering that he would ensure overall development of the Sircilla Assembly constituency compared to other Assembly segments in the district.
