YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh over the cash for vote scam where TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was arrested after being caught red-handed while offering bribe to nominated MLA Stephenson to vote in favour of TDP in the MLC elections.
Appealing the Union Minister to initiate action against the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the bribery scandal, YS Jagan mentioned who were offered Rs 5 crore by the TDP for each vote in the recent MLC election and TDP MLA Revanth Reddy offering bribe captured on video tape.
YS Jagan further accused Chandrababu of using kick-backs from major scams that took place in the past one year to buy MLAs during the recent MLC elections in Telangana. The YSRCP Chief had met President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday where he informed regarding the latest developments in Andhra Pradesh.
