Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Officials got the shock of their life when they reached Kuragallu Village on Wednesday night for carrying out Land Pooling.

Initially, Farmers blocked the way of the CRDA Officials and asked them to leave their village as soon as possible. Some of the women farmers even threatened to commit suicide by consuming pesticides. All the attempts of the Officials to pacify the farmers saying Government willn't force them to take part in land pooling failed. Post a stern warning from the farmers asking them not to visit the village again, Officials left the place without any progress in the land acquisition.
