TDP office in Warangal set ablaze

TDP office ablaze,Chandrababu Naidu,Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti,Chandrababu first visit to Warangal


Situation turned tense in Warangal ahead of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s maiden visit as CM. Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) activists are allegedly linked for setting ablaze of the backdrop of the dais that was erected for Chandrababu’s meeting.

The TDP party workers rushed to the scene and put off the flames and the backdrop was replaced. Police have seized few kerosene bottles from the location. Police have informed that they have not received any formal complaint from TDP but confirmed that investigation is going on. Police have already arrested some agitators to prevent any untoward incident. MRPS activists have also set ablaze the TDP office in Warangal. Office furniture and some goods were destroyed because of the fire.

This is Chandrababu’s first visit to Warangal after the state got bifurcated and he became chief minister of AP. He will review Telugu Desam Party's constituency wise working and performance. As part of his schedule, he is expected to stay in Warangal on February 12 and leave for Hyderabad on February 13 morning by helicopter
