Nava Nirmana Deeksha
Hyderabad: Marking the first anniversary of the bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh, the State Government is all set to organise a week-long “Nava Nirmana Deeksha” from Tuesday across the residuary state from Tuesday.The objective of ‘Nava Nirmana Deeksha’ is to make people partners in the development of Andhra Pradesh. The main function would be organised at Benz Circle in Vijayawada.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would arrive in the city from Begumpet airport by 9 am and lead the procession from Maris Stella College. He would address the people for one hour and proceed to a hotel where he is scheduled to meet the party leaders, senior officials and the representatives of various organizations. After lunch, he would proceed to the Gannavaram airport where he would inaugurate the extended and renovated lounge before leaving to Hyderabad.
Under the Deeksha, public meetings would also be held in every district and mandal headquarters from June 3 to explain to the people the injustice meted out to the residuary state of AP post bifurcation and the challenges that lay before the government to achieve inclusive growth.
Naidu would administer oath to the participants who would be rededicating themselves for development of the state. To mark the completion of one year in office and also concluding of the week-long programme, the Chief Minister would address a public meeting in Vijayawada on June 8. All officials, elected representatives, VIPs, intellectuals and academicians have been invited to join the Deeksha.
As part of the programme, official teams would tour all the villages to campaign about the implementation of government schemes including seven missions and five grids. Audio- visual publicity, preparation of pamphlets, poster materials and Kalajatara teams would be part of the campaign.
