According to grapevine, the government of Andhra Pradesh is seriously contemplating to lodge case against a leading tabloid. AP government is toying with the idea to serve defamation notice on the tabloid following its news report that Chandrababu would quit his post if the Telangana ACB names him in the supplementary FIR.
The tabloid has reported that Chandrababu Naidu had made his plans to quit the post if an FIR is filed against him and he would make Union Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju as the CM who is loyalist and able administrator. As the report gone viral, AP government wants to take action against the media publication.
Reacting to the news report, TDP spokesperson Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu quashed it as baseless and ruled out any such "need" for an "alternative arrangement" in case Telangana ACB files FIR against AP CM. Communications' Officer to AP CM, Parakala Prabhakar, called it as "cheap imagination" and further refused to comment on the report.
