Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 5) may be the most interesting thing happening in both the worlds of sports and entertainment in India. Kick started on January 10, the fifth edition of the popular Celebrity Cricket League is currently running in full swing in various cities of India.

There are total eight teams taking part in the CCL 5 cricket tournament. The all 8 city-based teams are consisting of prominent film personalities from the regional film industry. These are– Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Veer Marathi, Karnataka Bulldozers, and Chennai Rhinos. The teams have been divided into two groups – Group A and Group B-, with four 15-member squads in each group.

As per the format of CCL 5 tournament, total 15 matches were to be played, which included 12 Group matches 2 semi-finals and finally the grand finale.

The first leg of CCL 5 which included 12 Group matches, is already concluded on January 25, 2015. And now the two top teams from each group are gearing up for semi-final round that commences from January 31, 2015.

In Group A, Telugu Warriors and Karnataka Bulldozers are the two teams that will play semi final of CCL 2015, while in Group B, Mumbai Heroes and Chennai Rhinos emerged as the leading teams in the points table, thus got direct entry to the two-legged semi final stage.

The first Semi-Final of CCL 5 will be played between Chennai Rhinos vs Karnataka Bulldozers on 31st January at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad at 02:30 pm.

The second Semi-Final of CCL 5 will be played between Telugu Warriors vs Mumbai Heroes at the same venue on the same day at 7:00 pm.

The two semi-final winners will vie for the CCL 5 trophy in the final summit clash at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad on February 1, 2015.
