A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man seven months ago in Jaipur who along with three other persons, also blackmailed and extorted money from her after filming the act, police said on Saturday.

The girl alleged that the four accused took her to Sanganer from her village in June last year, where one Mahendra raped her and filmed a video of the act. After that, the accused threatened to circulate the video if she did not steal money from her house for them, police said. The rape accused Mahendra Meena along with three others -- Rahul, Guddi and Rajendra also extorted money from her, they said. She handed them over Rs 2.30 lakh from June to November last year. Mahendra also raped her again during this period, police said, adding, the FIR was lodged on Friday with the Sanganer police station. Besides, sections 376, 384, 120B, among others of the IPC, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) has also been imposed, they said, adding the matter is under investigation. Sanganer town is situated 16 km south of Jaipur.
