Kurnool: District Collector CH Vijaya Mohan has ordered an inquiry into the medical report of YSRCP MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy.
It may be noted a team of government doctors examined Bhuma Nagi Reddy. In their report, the doctors suggested the government to shift the MLA to NIMS (Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences) in Hyderabad for better treatment.
The inquiry was ordered after the police lodged a complaint with the Collector stating that there was no need to shift Bhuma to NIMS as Kurnool and Kadapa hospitals were well equipped.
The officials are planning to constitute a four-member medical team to conduct medical tests for Bhuma.
According to reports, Bhuma Nagi Reddy is lodged at Allagadda sub-jail. He reportedly refused to take tiffin and medicines in protest against delay in shifting him to NIMS in Hyderabad.
