Kurnool/Hyderabad: Arrangements were on to shift YSRCP Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy to NIMS, Hyderabad for better treatment.
Nagi Reddy was arrested at Nandyal on Friday on the charges of violation of rules during the MLC elections in Nandyal on Friday and also for using abusive language against red sanders task force DSP Devadanam.
SC, ST atrocity case was filed against him. The police produced Nagi Reddy before the magistrate. Following his orders, Nagi Reddy was shifted to Allagadda sub-jail in the early hours of Saturday.
Jail officials shifted Nagi Reddy to Allagadda government hospital when he reported of his ill-health. Dr. Sujata after conducting a series of medical tests, suggested to shift him to NIMS for better treatment as he was suffering from high BP and chest pain.
