Daggubati Purandeswari, in-charge of BJP Mahila Morcha and also co in-charge for Karnataka BJP, said that central government is keen to provide all the assistance to Andhra Pradesh. She said that the 14th Finance Commission did not recommend special status to AP, however, she said the Centre was trying to resolve the issue. On Smart cities issue, Purandeswari said that the Centre has been follownig certain norms and taking population of places in this regard.
