It is known that Tirupati By-poll is scheduled to happen on February 13th. While TDP fielded late M Venkataramana's wife Sugunamma as its candidate, Congress turned down the request of AP Government to make the by-election unanimous and fielded Sridevi. Here comes the latest twist!

On Wednesday, AP PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy declared his party is ready to withdraw the nomination if TDP gives assurance on fulfilling all of its poll promises. This is nothing but a face saving act as Congress is likely to lose deposit and TDP is aiming for 1 lakh majority in the by-election.
