The one interesting aspect that caught many off guard and raised several eye balls is the short conversation that took place between media baron Ramoji Rao and YSR Congress president, leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Known as betenoirs and political, media arch rivals the duo's brief interaction at the wedding of actor Manchu Manoj led to several speculations that duo would be ditching their differences by offering olive branches. Whereas many said that it was just casual talk and duo formally exchanged greetings.

The rivarly between the duo dates back to many years. It may be recalled that Ramoji Rao's Eenadu group has been positioning negative articles about his late father YS Rajasekhar Reddy when he served as Opposition leader, Chief Minister. After his death, Ramoji's Eenadu targetted YS Jagan and his disproportionate assets. At the same time, Jagan Reddy's Sakshi group consistently retaliated Eenadu's stories and lashed out at him in return. Jagan's media pointed out at Ramoji Rao's alleged misdeeds in his chit fund firm Margadarshi which was revealed by YSR's staunch follower Undavalli Arun Kumar.
