Vijayawada: There is a lot of curiosity worldwide regarding the new capital of AP, be it due to the name Amaravati or due to the involvement Singapore, a country which is designing a capital 10 times bigger than itself.
 
In the US, where a large number of Telugu people live, development of AP capital by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is one of the most followed topics, which is evident in the e-commerce websites selling T-shirts with name of Vijayawada and Guntur.
 
“It’s where my story begins,” reads the special T-shirts with a map of AP and government’s logo. While a round neck T-shirt is being sold at $22, those with hood are sold at $39. Indian national flag is also embedded in the map of AP.
