Enraged by his daughter's live-in relationship with a married man, a father, Nageswara Rao attacked Bhavani with a hunting sickle and killed her live-in partner Ravi Shankar at Bhanu apartments in Ramaraopet colony in Kakinada on Monday. Severely injured Bhavani was admitted to a hospital for treatment. It is learnt that Bhavani had been living with Ravi Shankar against parent's wishes. Deceased is survived by wife and two children.
