Putting rest to long-pending speculations, Indian National Congress finally decided to replace incumbent Telangana PCC President Ponnala Lakshmiah. Ponnala would be removed from the top job and instead  he would be nominated as MLC, say highly-placed sources in the Congress top brass. Congress National President Sonia Gandhi said to have taken aforementioned decision.

TPCC working president Uttam Kumar Reddy will be elevated as TPCC Chief. "It's mostly confirmed and a formal announcement is expected on Saturday evening," said Telangana Congress senior leader. Congress president Sonia has invited former Home Minister Jana Reddy to New Delhi raising curiosity.

Ponnala has been in New Delhi for over four days. Despite several attempts, he didn't get Sonia Gandhi's appointment.
