Power surplus,Telangana,KCR,Andhra Pradesh,K. Chandrasekhar Rao
K. Chandrasekhar Rao had spearheaded the agitation during the Telangana movement and even stated that Telangana would become rich and revenue surplus state once the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh takes place.
Now, with the report of 14th Finance Commission declaring Telangana and Gujarat as revenue surplus states, the Chief Minister of Telangana and the TRS Supremo proudly declares that his prediction has come true.
The CM even went to add that when he first made the statement, he was ridiculed but it has become a reality today. Also, KCR hinted at the present advantage to be used by the Government to seek more loans from the funding agencies.
As the supply-demand situation is satisfactory in the state, KCR assures no power cuts will be imposed. To meet the huge demand in summer, Telangana Government is eager on procuring power in the open market.
