The government of Telangana declared a war on Swine Flu. With the interference of chief minister KCR, the health department got movement and aggressively creating awareness about this virus and also taking precautions to prevent it. CM officially revealed that 19 died due to this virus but the media has posed questions to him regarding the false information given by the health minister.
 
Health minister, Deputy CM Rajaiah has been facing criticism from the beginning regarding various issues. The latest issue is about Swine Flu. Reportedly, deputy CM has given false information regarding the deaths caused due to Swine Flu Virus. The minister has denied the news reported by media regarding the deaths. Later, after the meeting held by Chief Minister, the facts have come out and the official number on deaths was announced.
 
The opposition parties have started pointing out the mistakes of the minister and are keeping pressure on him. But CM KCR talking to media supported Rajaiah by saying that the minister has given the information basing on the reports given by the health department members and he questioned the media that why should the minister hide the truths. With this incident the pressure on Rajaiah has increased and KCR might warn him to be careful in future while dealing with cases like this.
