Spying row,Pranab Mukherjee,Chandrababu Naidu,cash-for-vote scam
Hyderabad: A ministerial delegation from Andhra Pradesh will meet President Pranab Mukherjee either on Monday or Tuesday to appraise him of the latest developments in Hyderabad, particularly in the aftermath of the cash-for-vote scam.
The delegation will not only complain to the President about the Telangana government’s alleged phone tapping of key persons of AP but will also give evidence to substantiate it, said top sources in the government. The evidence will apparently include a communication for the Telangana state government, apparently written to some service providers, asking them to tap the phones, sources said.
“We will raise the issue of implementation of Section 8 and the Telangana government’s attitude with regard to the 107 institutions listed in the AP Reorganisation Act. We will explain how the TS government has been violating the norms and spirit of the Act since the beginning. If necessary, we will submit a detailed note to the President,” AP minister K. Achhannaidu told Deccan Chronicle.
