Chandrababu Naidu,State bifurcation,Ugadi festivities

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today claimed that the bifurcation the united AP was not done properly.

He made this statement while participating in the Ugadi festivities being held in Anantavaram of Thullur mandal under the capital city region here today.

Speaking on the issue of bifurcation, the chief minister further said that after unilaterally taking a decision to bifurcate the united Andhra Pradesh, Congress party faced an ignominious defeat in the subsequent general elections held for the state assembly.

Stating that the region between Vijayawada and Guntur is ideal for setting up the capital city, Chandrababu said that is the reason the capital was being constructed there.

The chief minister then assured that his government will take steps to do justice to those farmers who had come forward willingly to give away their land for the construction of the capital city.
