In a jolt to TDP in West Godavari district, the supporters of former Tanuku MLA Y.T.Raja served an ultimatum on TDP leadership after Raja's name was removed from the list of TTD Board members in the last minute.

It may be recalled that the name of Raja had appeared in the list of probable TTD Board members leaked to media but at the eleventh hour, his name was removed from the final official list announced.

Angered at this, 33 TDP Councilors served a 24-hour deadline on the leadership through local MLA A.Radhakrishna to include the name of Raja in the official list.

"If Raja's name is not included in the list in the next 24 hours, we will quit the party en masse," the Councilors warned the MLA.
