TS Govt Plans Massive Land Survey in February
The Telangana government is planning to take up a massive land survey in February in the state. Every inch of land will be surveyed and the details will be computerised.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, deputy chief minister and revenue minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said they were taking up complete land survey with an estimated cost of `600 crore. ‘’The survey will be launched in February. The Central government has sanctioned `139 crore for the survey and has already released ` 85 crore,” he said.
He said agricultural, government, private and all lands would be surveyed to know the available land in the state.
Mahmood Ali also said that new buildings would be constructed for stamps and registration department, beginning with four buildings in Hyderabad and 23 buildings in Ranga Reddy district.
The minister said non-judicial stamps would be made available in around 900 post offices in the state. The post offices would sell these stamps even on Sundays and other holidays. The system was successfully implemented in Karnataka, he added.
