Rajahmundry name changed to Rajamahendravaram from today

The traditional and cultural hub of Rajahmundry will be called Rajamahendravaram from today. The new name of the city in East Godavari district will be used in all official records from now on. The issue arose during the Godavari Pushkarams that were held here. Chandrababu Naidu was here for 19 days and decided that the old name of Rajamahendravaram is more suitable for the place.
