Mumbai: In a shocking revealation, Husnanin Warekar who killed his kin and committed suicide used to sexually assault his mentally unstable younger sister.
According to a report in The Mumbai Mirror, Husnain’s sister, who survived the macabre incident said that his brother used to force his younger sister to indulge in sexual activities.
Though the murderers far fledged relatives have rubbished the probability of Husnain killing his kin, his sister said that Husnain’s exterior was in loggerheads with his inherent viciousness.
She further hinted at the probability of Husnain killing his family because they were aware of his illicit activities.
35-year-old Husnain stabbed his 14 family members to death, and had hung himself from the fan after that. His motive behind the morbid incident is yet not known. The police is thouroughly investigating the matter. According to the investigators, Husnain was steeped in a huge debt of Rs 67 lakh.
According to a senior police officer of Thane Police, Husnain had borrowed around Rs 67 lakh from his close kin on various occasions under the pretext of doing business.
He was also into share trading and police is probing whether he suffered any losses in it, he said.
Earlier this week, during searches at his house, certain medicines pointing to psychological symptoms/illness were recovered, which police said is likely to give some leads into Husnain's state of mind before the macabre killings.
Besides, police is also trying to locate the pharmacist from where the medicines were procured and the doctor who prescribed them.
On February 28, the accused slit their throats with a knife after offering them drinks laced with sedatives at the family house in Kasarvadawali area on Thane outskirts, and then committed suicide by hanging himself.
Only his 22-year-old sister Subiya survived the murderous attack to recount the horror that befell the family.
According to police, Husnain, a commerce graduate, used to prepare Income Tax-related documents with a CA firm in Navi Mumbai and did not have any permanent job.
