The trial of the Dilsukhnagar blast accused Yasin Bhatkal, 32, is being conducted inside the Central prison of Cherlapally, Hyderabad, from Thursday onwards.
The magistrate's visit to Cherlapally jail on Thursday suggests that the trial is being held on the prison's premises.
Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Ahmed Siddibapa alias Yasin Bhaktal was accused in the twin blast in Dilsukhnagar on Febraury 21, 2015, in which 18 persons were killed and many injured.
Yasin Bhatkal, in the past, had triggered a controversy when he had informed his wife through phone that he would be out of jail soon with “help from Damascus.”
