Hyderabad: Union Minister for Water Resources, Uma Bharti will soon visit the Telangana state. The Minister will review the the Government's ambitious project 'Mission Kakatiya'.
Minister Uma Bharti promised the Telangana Minister Harish Rao of allocating funds for the 'Mission Kakatiya' project when the latter explained about the developments in the Irrigation sector to the Minister Uma Bharti during his delhi tour. In response, the Union Minister applauded the Telangana Government's initiatives in the irrigation sector.
Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao met Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti in New Delhi recently on the sidelines of Jal Manthan-2 workshop. He requested Uma Bharti to expedite in granting permission to new irrigation projects. Harish Rao requested the Union Minister to grant national status to Kaleshwaram project. He informed Uma Bharti that only one project from Telangana has been included under AIBP. He requested her to include four more irrigation projects from TS in AIBP.
