The Congress party is planning to take action against former MLA Jayasudha for not participating in the party activities for quite some time. The actor-turned-politician has for long been inactive in the Congress and staying away from all the party activities.

Speculation was rife that she was toying with the idea of quitting Congress as she was not feeling comfortable in the party. In a major embarrassment to the Congress party, she invited Telangana Chief Minister KCR to grace the audio function of her son's movie 'Basthi'.

It is learnt that several Congress leaders has urged the party high command to initiate action against Jayasudha for her anti-party activities. Giving credence to the rumours, senior Congress leaders held a meeting with leaders of Secunderbad.

Jayasudha is currently Congress party's in-charge of Secunderbad.
