Hyderabad: The Telangana Jagruthi's invitation to YS Bharathi, wife of YS Jagan, Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly, for Bathukamma festivities has stirred a controversy.
Senior TDP leader and former MLA Kothakota Dayakar Rao has flayed Telangana Jagruthi founder and Nizamabad MP Kavitha for extending invitation to YS Bharathi for the event.
Dayakar Reddy said that Jagan and his family members strongly opposed bifurcation of the state.
He said that all parties jointly struggled for Telangana. He said that all the opposition parties were waging a collective struggle against agrarian crisis in the state.
It may be noted that the Telangana government has released Rs 10 crore to Telangana Jagruthi for organising Bathukamma festivities on a grand note.
