Indian Premier League: Rohit Sharma Rings Opening Bell at Bombay Stock Exchange Ahead of Mumbai Indians' Opening Match

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai Indians, the two-time Indian Premier League champions, along with head coach Ricky Ponting and team owner Nita Ambani rang the opening bell of the Bombat Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday. Mumbai Indians will open their campaign against Rising Pune Supergiants at the Wankhede on April 9.

The dashing right hander struggled in the recently concluded ICC World T20, where he managed just 88 runs in five games at an average of 17.6, with a highest score of 43. However, Rohit will be aiming for some big runs in the upcoming IPL, where he is the second-highest run-getter with 3385 runs in 128 games. Suresh Raina is the leading run-getter with 3699 runs in 132 games.
