Congress faction leader turned TDP MP from Anantapur popularly known as JC (J C Diwakar Reddy) is once again in news for his off the cough remarks on every one and sundry. This time JC has stirred the hornet's nest by slamming the TDP government itself  for being a spendthrift .

He has added  another twist  to land pooling in the CRDA villages by declaring that Government needed  53,000 acres and not just 33,000 acres for the capital construction. "Chandrababu should take a second opinion on whether the land acquisition of fertile land is necessary at all," JC quipped in the assembly premises.

He did not spare even Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan when he said: "It is ok that Pawan Kalyan is advising us to fight with the centre  for the Special Status of AP. But he should tell us  how ?"JC further shocked all ruling party MLAs and MPs and cracked another wise remark when he said that the offer of special Status for AP was just an election stunt. "I am certain AP will never get  Special Status," he predicted.

Talking about upcoming state  budget, Diwakar Reddy hoped that government wouldn't levy additional taxes and advised the Chandrababu government to  give up some welfare schemes to reduce burden on the public exchequer. On whether he would join the YSRCP Diwakar Reddy asked why he should join YSRCP, a party which was getting empty. "I have no plans to join either BJP or  YSRCP and Chandrababu is treating me well ," he  joked.
