Prasad Vara Potluri has been making small to high budget entertainers at regular interval of times, exhibiting his passion for cinema. Unfortunately, none of his films provided him and his production house a hit. Finally, he has all smiles now with success reports for latest outing Kshanam.
Kshanam has been released yesterday to unanimous positive reports. With encouraging mouth talk, the film is getting good response from the public, especially in metro centers. Trade experts predict that, Kshanam will provide huge profits almost 3 to 4 times to what the makers spent on the movie.
Kshanam has been made with a budget of Rs 2 cr (1 cr for production and 1 cr for promotions) and it is expected to make around Rs 6 to 7 crores at the box office. So, enormous wages are expected for the producer and distributors.
Production values of the thriller movie are high in standard, although it is made of shoestring budget. Each frame is prolific, because of top notch camera work by Shaniel Deo and creative making by director Ravikanth Parepu.
Actually, PVP should be appreciated for taking up such small time film and encouraging new talent. The producer will next come up with a high budget entertainer Brahmotsavam starring Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Kajal, Pranitha in lead roles and directed by Srikanth Addala. His other film Oopiri that features Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamanna will hit the screens on 25th March.
