Story:

This movie opens up with Ajith Kumar who accompanies his sister Lakshmi Menon to Mumbai. Thala Ajith and his sister Lakshmi Menon spend a happy life together. Ajith works as a taxi driver to meet the basic needs. But, everything gets changed when he faces troubles with gangsters. What happens to Ajith and his sister? What made him to work as a taxi driver? Find answers to these questions on the silver screen.

Performances:

Thala Ajith stole the show with his energetic performance and he is awesome in dual role. He has delivered the career best performance. Ajith’s characterization is marvelous and he excelled in a brother and don character.

Actress Shruti Haasan did a good job and she looked beautiful in this movie. Actress Lakshmi Menon suited for sister’s role and she has given her best. Rahul Dev and Kabir Duhan Singh are at their best. Kabir Duhan Singh looks stylish in his role and he delivered the terrific performance. Thambi Ramaiah does proper justice to his role. Mansoor Ali Khan is okay. Other actors Bala Saravanan, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan etc played well in this movie.

Less comedy scenes
Some logics are missed in this movie

Analysis:

Vedhalam (Vedalam) has been shot quite stylishly and the action sequences are a major highlight. Cinematography is superb and it is one of the best things about this movie. Anirudh’s music is good. Editing is okay. Production values are rich.

Verdict:

On the whole, Ajith’s Vedhalam (Vedalam) is the best family entertainer for this Diwali. Sure shot blockbuster!
