Bellamkonda Srinivas and Sonarika starrer 'Speedunnodu' emerged as the first disaster of 2016 with its huge margin of loss.
Trade Circles say, 'Speedunoodu' opened well at the Box Office and First Weekend revenue stood at Rs 5.18 crore. There after, The collections dropped drastically and never really picked up. In the full run, This action entertainer managed just Rs 7.36 crore. Wheras, The situation in Overseas is terrible as distributor couldn't even recover the print & publicity cost.
The Pre-Release Theatrical Business of 'Speedunnodu' is around Rs 17 crore. So, The loss could be anywhere around Rs 10 crore.
A decent film like 'Alludu Seenu' prompted distributors & exhibitors to invest huge on 'Speedunnodu'. The gamble didn't pay off and they end up burning hands. This result will have a huge impact on Bellamkonda's 3rd release.
