Director Ram Gopal Varma has today met Devineni Nehru and some of his family member as part of his ongoing research for the film "Vangaveeti", which he will be shooting in Mumbai from next month.
As part of his three day tour, on Thursday night RGV met few the-then followers of Vangaveeti Ranga. On Friday, he met Nehru and his followers. Tonight he will be meeting his friend and former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal. Reports have that Vangaveeti family including later Ranga's wife Ratnakumari and their son Radha Krishna have declined to meet Ramu. They are said to be not interested on the film at all.
While that sounds like a stumble block for Ramu, he has earlier clarified that nothing would stop him making "Vangaveeti" whether those people related to deceased meets him or not.
