KNOWING the right time to have children can be crucial - and not all parents are happy they had them at all.
A controversial thread on Quora has now amassed over 61,000 views as commenters reveal why they wish they had NEVER had their kids.
A few of the posters on the Q&A site claimed that having children had prevented them from being able to travel or have as much freedom as before.
One said: “I selfishly think about the fact that I could be travelling round the world right now instead of helping her with her homework.”
Some commenters also said that they had problems with their children because they were unsupported by their partners or family members.
An anonymous responder felt that they had “wasted a great deal of time” on a daughter who was turned against her by people in the family.
One of the comments that received the most interactions revealed that the mum shouldn’t have ignored the “red flags” about her partner.
She claims to regret going against the previous 27+ years that she insisted she didn’t want children.
The thread is continuing to attract traffic, with one woman remarking “this is one of the rawest questions and answers I’ve seen on Quora”.
