Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will shortly make an announcement on the Special Status category for AP.
NITI Aayog recently submitted a report on the special status to the government. Chandrababu added that the Prime Minister would be making an announcement on the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Bill. NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Pangariya's visit to AP raised expectations among the people that a statement would be made on the special category status.
