Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao had launched double bedroom scheme for poor in Telangana State. Recently, KCR had inaugurated double bedroom flats at IDH Colony which has received tremendous response from poorer sections. Officials have identified 46 slum localities to allocate 11,500 double bedroom flats in GHMC limits in the first phase. As per KCR directions, officials have begun survey to know peoples views in 1476 slum colonies about constructing double bedroom flats in their localities. They have been identifying vacant lands and corresponding survey numbers for construction of 1 lakh flats.
