Photos of the deity, a chariot and a collection of puja items were burnt to ashes, in a fire that broke out in Sai Baba temple, at Korlagunta junction in Tirupati. Alert locals entered the temple by breaking the lock and tried to put out the flames. Later, fire servicemen arrived and put out the fire. The flames began when the cloth on the chariot caught fire, from the lamps that were lit by women.
